There are some other factors for me as well.
I want to find a long term, go-to A/S tire size for my ZL1 since I plan to keep it. I previously owned a Viper, and I watched while 19" x __ wide-tire size options have dried up (as for a ZL1, good luck finding many staggered options for 285/35/19 tires [F] & 285/40/19 [R] 5 years from now).
Even some mainstream cars are already coming with 21" rims now. Thanks to EVs, I think we'll see lots more 25 & 30 profile tires for:
20X8.5
21x9
22x9.5
In other words, I think we'll soon be in a world where there are almost no A/S tires that are 295+ with more than a 30 profile, so I'm staying with 20s.
I also want to get away from the 11" wide with 305s in the rear. I'm going to keep my stock staggered 10" & 11" OEM rims, but I want to run a second set with 20x10 in the rear when I get the A/S tires.
