sorry, I couldn't resist a wry smile. Yes, you always replace bulbs in pairs, LED or not, because if one goes out, chances are the other will not be far behind.
In this case, fixing half the problem isn't enough, you need to replace both. You wouldn't want two different bulbs on each side anyway, right? They most likely won't have the same hue and ligh intensity unless they are identical units.
Note also that this diagnosis, like everything you read here, is just a somewhat educated guess on my part, not the result of a proper physical examination of the car.

Nothing you see on youtube is exactly that simple in the real world, people tend to cut out or shorten the hard parts and failed attempts from their videos, and watching someone pull parts doesn't tell you how difficult it may be in reality, or what kind of tricky hand movements may be necessary, especially if you're dealing with a rusty metal or stuck plastic part. Keep trying and you'll get a feel for it
