Since they added all the other aero stuff from the 1LE I'd wager they would have added them but went with the lights instead, know your audience logic. Again a bit of a compromise between a track car and a street car. I don't think many people buying the CE are going to track their cars, but lots will drive them on the street every weekend and take them on road trips including night driving.
