I have experience with Meth injection dating all the way back to 1980, Yes I am that old and been doing it that long.
I know how to make it work, but it will never change the reliability or potential engine failures when relying on it as a fuel source.
It has it's place in the performance world but you should know all the details before committing.
Keep in mind when someone is trying to sell you something they have something to gain, so they will tell you all the positives and none of the negatives.
I prefer to educate my customers and let them make the decision knowing full well the risk.
Once they have all the details they rather not mess with it.
I am giving up a sale in the process of educating my customers.
So I have something to lose in the short term but a customer for life in the long term.
We do use it in very specific applications with fail safes in place, typically engines with no other intercooling options.
I attribute meth injection success to Casino Success, you never hear when they lose, but always hear when they win.
Been in the business 36 years I can't tell you how many calls I have received, my meth system failed and took out my motor from either self or other shop builds.
Can it work, Yes, can you win at the Casino yes, but the odds are stacked against you.
There are so many other ways to make power reliably that do not introduce as much risk.
If you are a fan, Great! go for it.
Just don't push a non gambler to go to the casino with false promises.
Ted.
