I do agree with others that already posted that it's pretty uncommon for IC bricks to leak, but was just stating that I have seen it reported a couple of times over the years. Broken exhaust valve is odd at your power level. Something must have been off on the valve train setup as previously mentioned.

That is still a mystery to me. If I had to guess I think a O-ring must've been a little worn. A broken spring would explain the valve contacting the piston and breaking off but tbh not sure what went on
