I enjoyed my manual SS a lot, but I had to sell it because my wife developed motion sickness riding in the manual with the shifting. She wouldn't ride in it with me, so it just sat in the driveway most of the time. She does not get sick in an automatic. I owned an 2016 RS before I got the SS and she didn't get sick in the RS.
