I don't really notice any difference in the smell. Remember I am only using a mixture of 5 or 6 gallons of it in a 19 gallon tank, and it IS unleaded. I do, however, notice a definite elimination of audible detonation, even when climbing hills in 7th, or 8th at 45 to 55 mph. At approximately a 94-94.5 octane mix, it is pulling much less, if any, timing during acceleration, other than what traction control is pulling if I'm using it.
