My love of all things fast certainly hasn't diminished any and last spring, I had my motorcycle up to a tick or two over 150 on a closed and private road in Mexico.
BUT...the calendar does not lie and if anything, hitting my 60's made me realize that the clock is running and I no longer say things like "I want to do that in the next 10 years". I do it today as you just never know what tomorrow may bring.

Great to hear about your health, and family history is definitely indicative of good genetic makeup. As an example, my wife's grandma lived to 97 and she was lucid all the way to the end, with zero mental acuity issues, I was able to discuss literally everything in the world with her, technology, politics, economy, you name it. Interestingly, she was also a working gal who had an extremely hard life
(thanks to world wars, some deranged commies and the economy they ruined), I still wonder if that was part of what put the steely resolve in her. Even we have it almost too easy today compared to her generation.
I understand the thrill with bikes, it's just not for me personally, I had a few mishaps back in my youth and now I'm a chicken, plus it has become much more dangerous because of all the inattentive, texting or simply untrained drivers on the road.
Enjoying and appreciating the day is an art I still have to master myself, thanks for the encouragement. Our clocks seem to be running ever faster, don't they, so (to awkwardly steer back to topic) I don't really worry about how much my Camaro will fetch in 25 years from now. Even if by some miracle it becomes super desirable despite being heavily modded, I'm not sure I'll still have things to do with the money, so I'll just keep her in good shape and maybe give it to my daughter or my son if she or he wants it.
