Many people don’t know the plant etiquette (stay in the yellow lines, don’t touch anything) and it takes time to have all the various visitors go through the mandated safety protocol. I totally understand the decision, it’s quite frankly a pain in the butt for the plant. Add the strike tension and it seemed like a no brainer. But I still had to ask haha

Yeah, it is a big disruption in many ways. I worked in a tier one automotive supplier manufacturing plant for many years, so I know the drill.
It was definitely worth a try asking, this is a once in a lifetime thing, our timing is just a little off. Nice that you already have your car in your stable, though. Enjoy your ride!
