I remember drooling over these as a kid, dreaming of once being able to afford a Technics or [gasp] maybe even a Sony or Pioneer. Then I learned about Nakamichi and realized how many levels existed in the audio world
Somewhat poignantly, by the time I could've bought them, they were all obsolete (and that's not the only thing in that category... sigh).
