Most containers containing liquid that I order from both Amazon & Walmart are typically taped and bagged.
I'd just do a return or replacement of the bottle that was opened. Poor reviews aside, it could just be an honest mistake.
I had a pretty decent size order from Amsoil earlier this year with some gear oil, some trans fluid, some power steering fluid and maybe a couple of other things. The power steering fluid leaked and got all over the other items. The box was soaked through too. I let Amsoil know and they replaced the entire order at no additional cost. I asked if they wanted me to return the other items in the order that were covered in power steering fluid. They said keep it, so I hosed everything off and now have a nice supply of Amsoil fluids
