Are you trying to make 1000 or 2000hp? Is something wrong with your current block? L8t block is nice for strength but it adds another 100lbs over a lt1/l86 aluminum block.
I have an l8t crank in an Lt1 block and the extra torque helped offset some turbo lag with my stock converter. PD blower is going to amplify that torque.
Scoggin Dickey is also in TX and very big in the L8t game, wouldn't be a bad idea to give them a call, see what they say. They're who I got my crank from.
