I'm not a car ac guy but 50 years in the commercial/residential end. To my knowledge 134a is the only refrigerant used in late models. The charge is probably in the owners manual but when you add something in the system like longer lines or h/e then you need to add more refrigerant to fill it enough. That would be determined same as engine tuning according to conditions. Pressures and temps should be the same as stock.
