My 2018 had a dead spot in the throttle. It most often occurred when lifting off the throttle and then immediately re-applying the throttle. Think slowing down to take a left turn across traffic and then making a sudden decision to go for it. That dead spot was downright dangerous.

My 2022 has excellent throttle response and I have not once seen any dead spots.
