Dumb question, given the compression is so high, does this mean this particular set up will not be made adjustable for FI in the future?
Well my specific engine is roughly 14:1 and is uses much larger injectors and ZL1 fuel pump. You dont need as much fuel with a non-supercharged application. I do however run E85 which requires more fuel delivery than a pump gas set up by about 30%.

As far as forced injection goes, most people stay in area of 10-10.5 to 1 compression. I would imagine though it would be easy enough to LOWER the compression on the LME engine by using heads with bigger combustion chambers or by using a thicker head gasket or BOTH.

It is a common misconception though that BIG Power NA engines are LESS expennsive than a FI set up. They DEFINITEY are NOT.
