I am more than pissed. I'm about to sell this car 40 days after buying it, custom ordered from the factory.
This is the second time in 30 days I've been broken into, smashed the driver window, 27 days later I got the car back from the body shop as the door needed paint and door panel needed to be replaced due to damage, and last night my passenger side got broken into. Nothing to even steal, both times they just pulled all the very important paperwork out of my glove box to get rained on, both times extremely hard rain soaking the seat door and carpet.
I'm passed because this is twice now no alarm, no mychevrolet notifications, and no on star notifications. The first time I called on star and asked if they monitor break ins or know anything and the lady had an attitude and said yes we monitor that, so I asked if they noticed I was broken into, and she said no and asked with an attitude why I was calling her and not 911, so I hung up on her because they're useless. They called like the next week and asked me to pay for on star and I cussed the poor guy out and said not no but F no.

Is there not a freaking security system on these cars? How did they smash my windows out, open the door from the inside, rifle through my stuff, and leave it in the rain for me to not know about?

Onstar and Chevy failed me too, unfortunately not many Camaro owners are aware of how Chevy and Onstar are pretty useless when it comes to thieves. My ‘22 SS was stolen, the thieves broke the glass, and I had no notification whatsoever of the alarm going off. On top of that it took the thieves 56 seconds from breaking the glass to getting away with the car. So yes, to agree with you, these systems are useless and I learned that Camaro’s are also pretty easy targets to car thieves.
