I really only miss being able to hold that gear and the RPM's when I'm in heavy traffic and want instant thrust beyond pushing the pedal and getting the trans to drop 1-2-3 gears BEFORE I get it. I often put it in manual mode for the similarity but the paddles and/or the shifter just quick enough. It's like the paddles and shifter aren't linked to the trans, has a small delay in either when a shift is commanded.
Too the trans holds low RPMs when in drive so the moment I get that lugging sound in my axle back and it's unpleasant before it downshifts and picks up RPM.
The only thing I think is missing in the A10 is a performance shift button, on/off. I like the PSM when it activates but I'd like to more direct on/off button.

I agree the A10 is an excellent Transmission, the lag in shifting gears is slow , like the Throttle all electronic . I'm so use to Cables, from the old days , Cables are so instintanious, that's why in Drag Racing most applications still use a Cable . I'm not sure on this , but with an A10 trans tune you maybe able to get quicker shifts.
