If it's any encouragement/consolation, I waited a total 3.5 months for parts and body shop repairs in 2020 when a little (self-induced) mishap occurred. However, when the repairs were done, the car was driving better and tracking more straight than new, even after dealership alignments... they must have had a magic alignment rack.
Thanks man. I'm hoping for the best. The body shop seems pretty confident that they can make it as good as new. And I've had experience with this shop as they have made repairs to both of my kids vehicles. Unfortunately, both had accidents within the first year or two of driving.
