Hmm, that may well be the case. My A8 is tuned and I don't remember the time too well when it wasn't, but I get a nice 'whaaam' (torque cut) in the 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 shifts, then 4-5 is quieter (no torque cut, I presume), and I don't think I've had a 5-6 WOT shift as that would happen at ~150 mph... no Autobahn (but state troopers galore) in my neck of the woods, and I'm not fast enough to reach that speed in a 1/4 mile at the dragstrip.

I love on and off ramps, too

The Camaro's handling and cornering limits are very far from what you can experience in the street, and even more so once you add power.
Come on now, the car is very-very practical. I can take my wife out and already have fun on the way. She probably gets bored stiff by me pointing out her separate A/C control, the butt cooler, the handy wireless charger and the ambient RGB footwell lighting to her the umpteenth time... but she always plays along, "they're nice, as long as you like them, A/C is enough for me I don't need anything else"
Oh, and I was able to pack 4 max size carry-ons into the trunk, along with a few extra gadgets. Who says this car has no practicality, sheesh
