Circle on and off ramps on the highway is addicting as heck. Its been 7 years since driving my last fast car but I quickly remembered these cars have absolutely NO practicality for me. It is purely 100% FUN and trouble

Exhaust work and a range will make the driving experience so much better. I'll do the range first. I can already tell when it goes to 4 cylinder mode the exhaust loses its low tone cruising.

I like how I can control the gear cruising for fuel economy by upshifting to the highest gear.

I'm really hoping this car can be as trouble free as my last cars. I had 3 LS1 Camaros and they were rock solid

Yes, the original factory warranty is with me.
I actually watched that guy's videos a couple months ago while weighing out what car I should buy. I had no idea about the sound tube then but I can see my car has a plug there. I'll have to look in there more to see if any old parts still exist, or if it was just never installed by GM.
I agree with the guy in the vid, it just creates more clutter in the engine bay and with headers, the tube would be worthless to me. I like all the room I can get while working on my cars. I deleted the AC in my last 4thgen for weight and to make room for big trans cooler+a super sucker ram air but this new car I have will keep that stuff. Last car was a little too extreme having the windows down all the time smelling exhaust. I would have a headache after going on hell rides due to the noise It was a love hate thing. At the same time with the AC deleted it made plug changes so much easier

Notice all the extra room in the engine bay? Also LOUD valvetrain!

All mods are on topic with this thread

That's interesting, and I may look further into this at some point. But the question still seems to remain on what a 3.27 would do to the 1st gear?

Well, PSH....No more 308? That's a deal breaker

To be honest though, I'm a high stall torque converter fan. I would probably just do one of those. I know Circle D makes one but finding people who have done a higher stall in the 10L80 seems impossible right now. Yank doesn't even make them

Here's what a Yank SS3600 did for my 4L60

Really? That's good to know! I stayed away from the A8 due to hearing about shudder problems and such. I really hope this 10L80 will prove to be reliable and solid. I know they are having some issues in the trucks with the idler pully. I almost stayed away from this 2022 Camaro for that reason but here I am
Having test driven the M6 LT1, I know 1st gear with 9.92 breaks loose if you floor it. 13.0 is too short anyways, unless you run drag tires it will break loose no matter what.
I think 3rd gear with 3.27 would be killer with 7.00 final. Little bit shorter than 2nd manual, and between 2nd and 3rd with 2.77.
4th with 3.27 becomes 3rd with 2.77.

This is interesting to see, I will create a new topic later to debate it.

btw that 4th gen sounds amazing.
