I often think the term "Accepted" gets interpreted in the literal sense when using chevy chat, understandably.
I have been told "Your order has been accepted and is working toward production" when my event code was 1100. To me, it is a way to blow off the buyer making them think the ball is rolling on their order. I had a truck that was at 1100 for 9 months last year and for 9 months I received the canned response of "Your order has been accepted and is working toward production". They used to give out event codes if you twisted their arm but they no longer give out codes, probably because enough people kept hearing the canned response for the better part of the year and realized they were being bullshitted, and their vehicle was no closer to being built today than it was 9 months ago.
Last week I tried for 45 minutes to get my event code from chevy chat and they would not give it to me. I felt like responding with "Your helpfulness is unacceptable and is working toward being unproductive." But I just ended with a thank you.
