Allocations are made weekly by GM, dealers wouldn't know how many Camaro's (including what trim) they might get ahead of time. No way for a dealer to know they have their years allotment already. They could guess based on what they have gotten historically but that's all it is, a guess. You put your order in , it sits at 1100 until GM says you have an allocation, as true for a dealer as an individual. Unless your a big volume Camaro dealer like some in the U.S. you just hope your number gets called.
That said given the line up to buy Camaro's ahead of the January '24 end of run date I doubt Cdn dealers are expecting to see many more the rest of the year. Likely the big U.S. dealers will be hoarding them when they can get them. I see posts on the forum about them asking above MSRP especially for the higher end units like the 2SS, LE and ZL1's.
