Why not

My feelings aren't hurt they're going electric. I had a blast in the Hummer Edition One while I had it and have a Blazer SS reservation too. Companies adapt as times change to remain successful. Could debate that all day long but it really makes no difference to me either way. The market will dictate which one sells and for what application.
Ordered a 5th Gen in Oct 2018, had 15 years of fun and made lifelong friends along the way. And if you look back I've only purchased a new one when there was a new model or upgrade to the previous. Now as things come to an end it's a little different so I might as well have some more fun with a limited run car that I think will look very nice. Being able to have a dedicated road track and straight-line car will be nice too. I might get to drive the 2024 a lot more too.
