Echoing FarmerFran, this is the second time the Camaro has been killed (2002-2009).
The Dodge Challenger was killed twice so far (1974-1978, 1983-2008) and the Gen 2 (1978-1983) was a 4 cylinder Japanese rebadge - that’s arguably a mercy killing!
The Mustang and Corvette have been the only models to stay in production continuously.
And surprise, the Challenger is beating the Mustang’s sales again this year so far.
