As someone mentioned earlier, now we know why there were such a limited number of ZL1 1LE cars built this past year...GM had to sandbag the parts stock for the special edition because they are hijacking the 1LE wing...I know there are a few gripes here and on IG about 'why not the LT5?!' and as was mentioned, that was sent to the trash heap a couple years ago. Unlike the Gen 5 Z/28, which benefited from GM having a C6 Z06 engine supply lying around doing nothing at BG, that's not the case here...I 'hear' a lot of clamoring for those type of cars (LT5) but the Z/28 was built in a quantity of 1801...they couldn't give those away! Think about what LT5 variant ZL1 would cost, we'd be looking at over 100k and GM execs are saying 'nope, not fooling us again Camaro team, btw, you've had no budget anyway for years, byeeeee!'
