Lol so we should base our purchase for a streetcar off of what Promod's are doing at NMCA and NPK races? Those cars are running direct drive head units bolted directly to the crank. Not even remotely close to the entry level P, D, and F series Procharger kits for street cars. The entry level Prochargers are not better than a PD in any metric other than they "might" be a little easier to install. There is a reason why OEM's use PD superchargers and not Centrifugal for production vehicles.

Either way Prochargers don't whine...it's more of a whistle with gear noise added in.

The only supercharger that will get close to a Hellcat level of whine is a ported LT4 with aftermarket lid. Or a 2650 with DSX lid but you will not get much whine from a 2650 only spinning hard enough to make 9-10psi to keep it safe for stock LT1 internals.

So if you want Hellcat level of whine, then you need to upgrade rods, pistons, and fuel system to support a ported LT4 supercharger pullied to make 15-16psi of boost. A lot of the blower whine is due to how hard the unit is being spun(blower rpm).

Honestly the OP would be better off trading up to a ZL1.
