You're going to hear people on here say different but what the track prep guide says is the same that the sticky says at the top of this forum.
After the 1500 mile oil change, change it every 5k miles or once every year (if you're one of those that drives the car less than 5k miles a year).
The owners manual tells you every 7500 miles but 5k is better for a high performance engine.
And yes, you're going to put the recommended 0w40 oil back in the engine at the 500 mile oil change and beyond. Don't buy oil or filters from the dealership. You can find it cheaper elsewhere.
