This isn't even the first time I've been screwed over by GM's allocation system. When I first attempted to buy a 2018 1SS 1LE in the spring of 2017, the dealer I went to at that time strung me along for months before finally admitting they couldn't get an allocation, and I was talking directly to the owner of the dealership. So I lost out on all the incentives and had to start all over again in the fall.
Apparently I'm first in line for the next allocation my dealer gets, but I'm not holding my breath.

That's crazy. I've gotten the same story about allocations from my dealer as well. They have no communications with GM at all and then suddenly the car shows up. I doubt that will happen to me though since my order is a 1LE as well. I have pretty much given up on ever seeing the car. I also ordered a C8 Z06 with the same dealer but I bet I never see that car either. GM is becoming more incompliant by the day.
