No it should be out by Feb latest, friend of mine works for ATT and they just started their training for the Bold2/Tour2 (suppose to be the same or very similar) she said that the trackpad kinda sucks though she prefers the trackball. And Sprint has been saying that they were releasing another version of the Tour by the first quarter of next year for months now. I have the Tour and I love it, I would love if more with wifi, but I have towers less than 200yds from both home and work so coverage isn't an issue.

I friend of mine has been waiting for it to come out and has a friend that works for Verizon that has a demo unit. He said that it seems pretty solid and is very quick. As long as their are no major flaws with the Android 2.0 OS it should be a great phone. If you want a phone that will work on almost any network get a Blackberry or some other multiband phone. A Blackberry world phone will work on CDMA, GSM, etc. networks but it not really meant for multimedia apps. Motorola is releasing a GSM version of the droid for Europe but it won't be out for a while and apparently not available in the US. I currently have an iPhone 3G and I am thinking about getting the droid. I want the freedom to use the phone how I want with the apps that I want and not just how Apple thinks I should use the phone. I am willing to accept the risk that an untested app may cause issues with the phone. It is no different than running freeware on a PC.
With my BB I can have Pandora running, GPS and my browser and still use the phone normally with no slowdown. As far as multimedia goes, I can watch tv and movies on it just fine the screen is brilliant. The speaker is ok, though it would be better if they'd put two on it, but that's what headphones are for in any case. I'm not an iPhone fan so I'll skip a comment on that and I've played with a few android phones and they seem solid, I just wasn't sure how stable the OS is so I went with BB.
