Well over a year ago. I bought a used 19 ZLE that had a Whipple. The previous owner must not have drove it much since his build. It started the "rattle" with me. It became increasingly louder. So, I messaged Whipple and sent a video that they requested. It was an immediate email back that they said it needed to be sent in for repair. I sent it in for repair and it was a front coupler bearing failure. It took about 3 weeks for a "rebuild". Installed the SC back on the car. Everything was hunky dory until mid October of 22. The rattle was back. I should included that the rattle did go away at higher RPM. However, I messaged Whipple again along with the race shop that built the car. Again, sent Whipple a video of the rattle. Again, immediate email to send in for repair. This time though, I consulted the race shop. I should have done that the first go around, looking back. After long discussions of options. I decided to do away with the Whipple and go with the Mag 2650. From the receipts of the previous owner. He bought the Whipple from a 3rd party vendor at about 35% off of normal price and sent to the race shop. It may have been a group buy that were sold from the vendor. Who knows though? One can speculate any possibility. I am glad that people have had good luck with Whipple SC's. I really liked the one I had. I just had to make the decision of a possible rebuild year after year or, go a different route.
