Personally, cutting off the muffler is too loud and the drone would be killer on a highway cruise. I would not suggest it, but to each their own.
If budget is something you are keeping in mind. Check out the
MBRP Axle-Back systems, they are fairly inexpensive and are easy to install. The drone wont kill ya on the highway and it is a fairly still loud exhaust.
