So can we use the cv axles from the convertible zl1 non elsd non 1le, to use as a type of upgrade to the ss?

I started getting a humming noise at 45 and 65 that got worse quick. Took the axles loose and there's a lot of play in the cv joint where it bolts to the diff. Where it goes into the wheel no play at all.

I understand there is in and out movement for suspension, this is back and forth or right to left like about 1/4 inch or more. Both axles. Im thinking this is where the noise is coming from.

i crawled under the car with it on the quick jack with it running and its definitely coming from the rear.
