Custom Made Roll Bars

This CHROMOLY roll bar is what I will be putting in my car SOON. The PARTICULAR version DOES NOT have the side bar that gets in your way for those guys like me that are ALSO daily driving their cars.

The one you see on this ZL1 weighs MAYBE 30 pounds and is WELDED, NOT BOLTED to the floor. The fabricator at AMP that makes these used to work at BRINKS RACECRAFT who is widely known as one of the BEST fabrication shops in the business. The bar is REALLY REALLY tight to the body lines inside the car with less than a fingers clearance between the bars and the inside of the body panels and roof. You cant really tell from OUTSIDE the car that it has a roll bar.

He can also make these NHRA certified with the addition of the required additional bars for you drag racing guys. There is an NHRA inspector that comes to the shop to certify it .

Anyhow, THIS particular one has the harness seat belt bar and the back bars that cross and are welded to the floor to provide additional strength and also SIFFNESS.
