You gotta get that "not putting AS tires on this car" mentality out of your head (I used to have it, too). In cool or cold weather the AS tires will grip better than any summer tires, PS4S included (which are actually pretty terrible in the cold - personal experience with them). I put Continental extreme contact all seasons DS06+ on the ZL1 and the improvement in grip is night and day over the OEM Goodyear SC3 in cold weather and better than the Michelin Pilot Sports on my Supra, and way better than the PS4S that were on my 2018 Mustang GT. Sure, in my area from June through early September the upper limit won't be as high, but how often are you actually pushing near 1g in turns? On the street, it should be never. So, you'll never realize the difference between a great AS tire and a summer tire, and you can reap the benefits in cool and cold weather.
