Its called GMPP and it comes into play after the factory warranty expires. It's not just for the ZL1 but any GM product.
Shop around because you can get a real good deal on it at other dealers. There is a thread on the forum called GMPP warranty or something like that and it has the name of those to contact that give out great deals on it.
