You and I have kicked the ZL1 v. 1LE topic around numerous times. No matter how many times I think about it, the argument that the ZL1 is the better drag race car makes little practical sense, and is only relevant for bone stock cars, and cars setup exactly the same.

Off the showroom floor they are essentially the same, 11.5. I do not know of a comparison of two cars with the same build racing each other. In fact, they probably don't exist.

As I said above, I doubt I will lose a heads-up race to a Gen 6 ZL1 up here this season. Does that mean the 1LE is a better drag car? No, it simply means I have more power.

Although I can't support it, I would concede that in a 1/2 mile race between bone stock cars, the ZL1 should be a bit quicker, but no one races 1/2 mile.
