Here's the thread I started re the trunk kit I put together.
You'll see in the pics that the compressor I bought fits nicely in the existing foam trunk liner, along with a jack and lug wrench. It's a nice, quality unit, and when it arrived with a broken plastic foot, the company sent me a replacement and didn't want the first one back. So now one lives in my SS, and the other lives in my Acadia. The Acadia has a spare, but now I have the ability to air-up a tire anywhere without having to put quarters in a crappy gas station air fill station!
