Agree that the 1/4 mile trap does not yet show the significance of the higher aero drag of the ZLE model compared to the normal ZL1. However in longer runs, it does become very apparent. For example, all 3 supposed to be stock cars here, the ZLE was tested in a standing mile, and the report was a 161.5mph trap speed. Compare that to the 173.9mph and 175.1mph trap speeds that a couple of normal ZL1s ran in the standing mile, and the aero difference between the models is clear. Watching in-car videos of the ZLE and ZL1 during the tests shows that the ZLE is struggling to continue accelerating at higher speeds when compared to it's brother ZL1.
