Car and Driver tests on an unprepped street surface, not a prepped drag strip. And the OP was on drag radials at a drag strip. They also take the average of two runs in opposite directions, so one of those runs could have been with a slight wind and have been 11.3 or 11.4 at 125-126 mph (who knows). Also, they test in CA which only has 91 octane, which is hurting the trap speed some, too. They also test at the manufacturer's recommended tire pressures in the door jambs, so they don't let air out to get better 60', further hurting big power RWD cars vs. AWD cars or compared to cars on drag radials on a prepped surface.
Plus, different cars, different days, different drivers, different track, etc.
