There's a little bit of a learning curve to the 1LE. 5 months later, I'm getting it down. Love the car. Definite KEEPER, especially if there will not be a 2024 Camaro.

Same here, but luckily it was my first 6th gen Camaro, not this one

. It wasn't really about visibility but just getting used to the car and positioning it correctly, always a similar process with each car I have driven.
Visibility is one of those neverending topics, simply because there is no ultimate solution to the problem of people simultaneously wanting to sit up high in a glass fish bowl for high visibility while also wanting to sit close to the ground with the car enveloping them as their speed increases and as they take tight turns fast for maximum sports car feel.
Indeed GM could have added a bit more glass and lowered the beltline a smidge, but those ships have sailed, and they aren't a major deal for anyone serious about driving a Camaro anyway. Close to 5 years in, this is still my absolute favorite car and I get the fuzzies whenever I sit behind the wheel and press the start button.
