This stuff doesn’t matter. In ANY mode when you go WOT in an A10 ZL1 it drops down almost instantly and moves out. It sounds like you think he’s describing having to wait for a downshift, but that’s not what I think he’s talking about. It sounds like the engine is hesitating before deciding to go all out. That has nothing to do with mode.
As to the OP, sorry; I didn’t notice any hesitation when I had a stock TB so I don’t have anything to add.
