I also bought the shock tower brace. I picked the dealer I wanted to install the parts and paid for it. The total cost was $2100 installed. The dealer was mad because it took them a week to install everything back in 2017 and they were compelled to only charge me the negotiated price.
I measured the height of the car before and after and again after a year. Total height drop was one inch. When they flash the ride control computer it updates the system in Detroit and shows the new parts as factory equipment and fully covered by the cars warranty. And honestly, it's a different car. It goes were you want it to and handles like a dream. Next I put on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup PS4 tires and the car rode much nicer and literally had ten times the grip.
Best money I ever spent, at least on this car, lol.

Im sure you considered michelin’s numerous different options in tires. What was the reason you chose the pilot sport cups as opposed to the pilot sport 4s, or the pilot super sports, or the pilot sport a/s 4.
Ive purchased a set of OEM 1LE wheels which differ in size compared to the SS stock size and im having a really tough time finding the right michelins for these wheels on my 2SS. Not even the dealership can give a definitive answer because between the 4 different michelin tires i just mentioned each have their own ratings and versions to choose from. I just purchased 2 michelin pilot sport 4s 305/30ZR/20 from rotolo chevrolet which are also run flats i guess and they have a 99Y rating which several ppl already have told me that is the wrong tire. Rotolo chevrolet didnt have an explanation for it and are claiming they have a no return on rubber policy. Im not worried about the return though, ill most definitely handle that. Im worried about finding the right michelin tires for my 1LE wheels on my 2SS. Ive seen a ton of ppl do that upgrade. Somebody plz point me in the right direction
