LT1 - Change to Staggered Set

I need wheels for drag radials that are at least 9 1/2 inches wide for my LT1. Current stock wheels are 8 1/2 I think. So, I thought may be better to just buy a new set of wheels with the specs I need. But now that I think about it, on my 2018 2SS, I bought a set that the tires were not stock sizes and it caused a problem with traction control, so I finally ended up putting stock dimension tires on the front that fixed the problem.

So, since that made me a little gun shy, I wondered if I put a staggered set on the LT1 which stock, has square configuration am I going to have the same problem. I had stock dimension ILE wheels on my 2018 which looked killer and there was no problem with the staggered setup. The question: if I use the same setup on the LT1, am I going to be in trouble with traction control? Any experience from the forum?
