The answer is more complex than you might first think. You'll need:

1. A laptop $400, or other device such as SCT X4 powerflash $400 to record scan data and flash your maps.
2. HPTuners MPVI3 OBDII interface tool to connect your device to your car $400.
3. HPT credits, probably need two at $65/ea.
4. Most good tuners will also require a wideband like the AEM UEGO Wideband Controller Gauge $225
5. You then choose between remote tuning and dyno tuning.
6. Remote tuning: A good tuner like KingLT1 here will charge (I don't recall, so ask him).
7. Dyno tuning: The tuner's hourly fees will be the same plus a dyno will cost you around $100/hour
