Here is another thread from way back when Jenetty did a bunch of performance parts testing on the SS. He specifically states the Dry is better. Pray Performance has also said the Dry was better based on his testing after this. Now feel free to contact both of them if need be.

Basically Rotofab claimed more HP from oiled and was proven wrong by independent testing at the track, dyno, and flow bench.
I've already said that it's not going to be a big difference either way...just trying to kill the internet myth that claims oiled filters are better.

I don't need to contact anyone on this. The difference between them is within the margin of error. However, the Email received by the OP from Rotofab says the wet filter flows more and that coincides with every other filter manufacturer's flow data as well. Oiled is better, period UNLESS you don't want to maintain it yourself. In that case a dry filter is better if you want to replace them regularly.
