Unless you plan on putting 100k miles on your car than the washing and reusing benefit of wet is moot. I have never cared for how a wet filter looks after washing and reoiling. I would simply spend the 50.00 and buy a new filter when it starts to look shitty...big deal. The dry filter is considered the race filter and flows a little more air. At least that is what they claimed several years ago when this was a hot topic. Both filters were put on a flow bench and the dry was a little better. Not a huge difference either way...buy whatever looks best to you.
