The 1LE wheels are 20" with low sidewall profile. While this is good for the road coarse track (more nimble turn in), it makes for somewhat less forgiving cushioning over road imperfections and (I've heard) is less good for a straight line drag where instead a higher sidewall is better. SS wheels are 19"? so maybe a bit better suited to drag than 1LE.
Why don't you try your existing car and wheels on a road coarse HPDE this spring and use the experience to decide if you want to keep doing it. That also might allow you the time to decide if you want to go ahead with the 1LE or not.
