Latest factory filter after break in oil change. I drained only the filter in this pan. Lots of sparkles from the dirty side of the filter. Looks like its doing the job. I tried tearing the filter if you see a tear, filter did not tear on its own. Blue bits are from cutting open the can. Looks like it caught most metal bits and some gasket/plastic material looking at the pleats and the oil in the pan. The oil pan which had the oil from the sump did not show any noticeable sparkles. Did the factory break in. Kept lower gears and engine breaking for ring seal. No over 4k until 500 miles. No consumption after 700 miles, I'd say its going well and I'm ready to start opening up.
