Since he is in Belgium, I'm guessing they are dealing with limited parts and resources. As to why dealer is not fixing the car, probably because it is cheaper if he fixes it himself. Dealer will probably refuse warranty coverage due to water intrusion.
Don't mind this thread one bit. Eventually we will all be out of warranty and may need to buy modules off ebay.
