Here is the ultimate short block setup for blown applications. This block is a piece of art from DART. It consists of a BILLETT aluminum block which basically starts out life as a BIG square 500 pound block of BILLETT and then is machined into a 150 pound finished block.

This PARTICULAR one is a 390CI short block built to hold up to 3000+ HP. It was spec'ed out by AMP and built by LME. The machine work is incredible. It looks like a piece of jewellery. LME did some pretty trick embossing on this short block.

You could probably buy a 50K engagement ring or this completed engine which is what I would guess this would set you back. The bare block by itself is an easy 15-20K.
